Katharina means pure, Victoria stands for itself. Katharina was always surrounded by the purest of materials and that inspires her today to create these objects. Made out of finest materials and finished in a manner protecting their natural energy. Real material doesn’t age, just gets richer, better, more beautiful and radiant.
A Victory, a victory in itself…

In more than two decades of experience as an architect / project manager, interior architect and designer, she has accumulated a wealth of expertise and skills.
During these years Katharina conceptualised, designed, managed and completed precious projects: an opera / concert halls/ congress centers / universities / schools and the extension of luxury housing into the sea of Monaco, working within world-renowned agencies such as Jean Nouvel, Zaha Hadid and Paul Andreu, from Hamburg to London, from China to New York and from Monaco to Paris.

After this fulfilling years of architecture, Katharina finally decided to found her own design house. She named it MAISON VON BROCkDORFF short MvB, thus reviving her grandmother’s name von Brockdorff, and turned it into a Franco-German brand. This rebirth allowed for a perpetuation of the family legacy, combining the family’s traditions and nobleness with her own CORE VALUES such as nobility, purity, richness, elegance, luxuriousness, beauty, naturalness, craftsmanship, creativity and uniqueness

Made in France or the European Union, these creations rely on craftsmen’s expertise to make each piece unique, well done and durable.

Each collection is filled with emotion; each creation carries a story, often inspired by a childhood memory, interwoven with London’s diversity, Parisian elegance, Greek pureness, reminiscent of the effervescence of her work, travels and life. Displaying fragments of life and tributes to crafts and to multiculturalism.

Whether designing an opera or a table, the intention is always the same: elegant and timeless lines.
Katharina aims at breathing soul, heart and emotions into each of her creations.

Katharina lives between France and Greece, by living out her geman origins with a dash of spanish/danish and austrian blood.

Greece; the cradle of philosophy / language / creations / design and architecture.
Real life, this peninsular of rich vegetation, pure water, sea and mountain. The only materials used here are stone and wood. Here nature speaks for itself and to my heart
